Barolo from Barolo tends to be a little more complex, and broader-textured. It is considered the Standard and is of course where its name Barolo comes.
Barolo di Serralunga, 2015
This is really chewy and intense with dark fruit and dried mushrooms, such as porcini. It’s full-bodied with depth and intensity. Some flowers as well. Sweet, ripe fruit at the end. Very well done this year. Drink after 2022.
