Altitude of vines: 250/450 metres above sea level

Terrain: Medium mix in layers, sandy, tufaceous, clayey

Vinification: Destemming; controlled-temperature fermentation and maceration, lasting between 10-14 days; after being drawn from the vats, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.

Fermentation tank materials: Stainless steel

Best served at: 16-22°C

Best drunk with: Flavorful first courses, Tuscan cured meats, red and white roast meats.


Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia


Ageing: a brief stay in large Slavonian oak barrels holding 85-35 hl for 2-3 months and then bottle-aging for at least 3 months.

Ageing potential: To be drunk immediately or can be kept for up to 5 years.

Color: Lively, limpid ruby red.

Bouquet: Fragrances of small red fruits, especially cherry, well mixed with light aromas of wood.
